1893-B 20 FRANCS GOLD COIN

This is a very rare
coin as only 100,000 were minted.

Beautiful coin with very sharp details
and good luster for a 125 year old coin. The edge lettering (*** DOMINUS *** PROVIDEBIT***) looks perfect and crisp.  I have tried to capture the details and luster
as best I can in the pictures.  If you
want additional pictures please let me know.

I am confident this coin will grade very
well but as grading is subjective please look at the pictures carefully to
decide.  It compares extremely well to
pictures of the few similar coins that have been graded by the major companies. I am happy to bring the coin to a local reputable dealer near me if you
so desire, for another opinion prior to your purchase. Logistics and cost
responsibility associated with doing that would be yours.

This is an opportunity to own a great rare coin. Only 100,000 are known
to have been minted in 1893 and very few are known to exist in this
condition. 

I am not a coin dealer.  I am an eclectic collector that is retiring and selling off, little by little, a number of items I have
and no longer want/need.  Specifically with regards to coins, I have accumulated too wide a variety and am looking to focus exclusively on Morgans going forward.

Observe: Laureated Liberty head wearing a Coronet with Alpine Roses bearing the name ‘LIBERTAS’, with a surrounding  ‘CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA’ inscription, in turn within a pearled
circle.

Reverse: 5 point star above the Cross of
Switzerland on a simple shield within a wreath and a pearled circle. The
inscription at either side of the shield is 20 FR, with the year and mint mark below the
shield.
