2 Gram Nadir Turkish Mint 24 Karat Pure Gold Round in Assay Capsule

Developing from Mr. Nadir Tutuncu’s Nadir Trading Company, the Nadir Rafineri opened in 1993 and produced fractional gold pieces that are among the most popular collectibles in the gold space. This two gram 24 Karat Pure [.995 fine] gold round is secured in a Tamper-Evident Capsule with assay details [weight and purity] on the capsule as well as on the gold round. Note that please.]  Although rounds like these minted by Nadir Metal Rafineri look almost identical to coins, they aren’t the same. Rounds are only manufactured by private mints, not by government ones. Rounds are minted as commemorative items with original, creative designs or images that recreate old coins. This two gram Nadir gold round is placed in a cellophane sleeve and attached to a Golden Life Card. A label inside the card offers details about the gold round, what we call ‘mini-bios.’ Gold prices are based on Spot Gold values but some bars and rounds demand higher ‘premiums’ [fees] on their sales for a variety of reasons, often due to sharp design features.
